Sinai Harbor/West Medow Beach: Nice Beach on the north shore of LI facing Westward. NW winds are quite on shore so be careful on take off and landing of your kite. Watch out for the shallow sand bars at low tide.
Directions:
LIE 495 to Exit 62. Go North on Nicolls road (Rt 97). Follow the road for about 9.5 miles until you get to a T intersection with North Country Road. Take a left follow for the road for about 800 yeard until you get to the 1st traffic light, turn right on Quaker Path stay on Quanker Path for about 1.2 miles and when road splits stay left on Mount Grey Road. Proceed another 2/3 of a mile and take a left on West Meadow Road, follow the road until you see the entrance to the beach parking lot on your left.
